Surgical Light Blue Diamond Lighting Solutions
Introducing the new Blue Diamond BD-375 surgical lighting
solution from PrinceMed. The Blue Diamond BD-375 is a full LED
operating theater light developed through years of research and
development in the science of O.R. lighting technology. By
combining state of the art LED’s , selectable light temperatures
and an easy to use controller interface, we have developed what
is simply the best surgical light available today. The Blue
Diamond’s LED’s are selected by the highest standards to offer a
full range of lighting temperatures that can be customized to
give the most suitable lighting for each type of surgical
procedure. Furthermore, with the use of our integrated
controller, these settings can be adjusted in real-time by the
surgeon or assistant.
Intuitive Control
The BD-375 controller enables the user to easily and quickly
change the lighting to what bests suits the surgeons eyes, as
well as what best suits the type of surgery being performed.
Range of Motion
The ceiling mounted suspension arms enable full 360 degree range
of motion, as well as 90 degree vertical tilting. The mounting
arms are also neutrally buoyant, enabling the user to position
the lights with the lightest of touches.
Temperature
Unlike conventional surgical lights, LED lighting emits little
heat from the front of the diode. Therefore, the air around the
surgeons head remains much cooler which reduces stress and
increases the surgeons stamina.
Design
Focusing on function was PrinceMed’s main goal when designing
the BD-375. However, our designers also put an equal amount of
time into making the function work within the operating theater
setting. The BD-375 is made up using separate, hexagonal pods of
lighting. These pods can be removed or added depending on
the physical size requirements of the room. In addition, the
housings are sculpted to reduce air drag and take into account
the around patient, air circulation system many operating rooms
use. Lastly, our designers focused on aesthetics. We believe we
have achieved true beauty with superior function.
